We had a successful weekend racing in the Camaro Mustang Challenge with NASA over the weekend at High Plains Raceway. In a group of 10 cars to start, we placed second in both of the main heats (a.k.a. money races) on Saturday and Sunday. The car ran great and transmission was flawless which led to success. Late in both races the rear tires were losing grip which made the Camaro a bit of a handful around corners. However, this does carry a positive side... It is much harder for the car behind you to get around when sideways through turns!
It is a great feeling to end the season on a good note after struggling around issues with the car earlier in the season. We will be back at it again in April next year so until then we will be fixing and upgrading the car.
